So for my first post I decided to do a simple chocolate chip cookie recipie. This makes 12 large cookies.
Ingredients:
5oz/ 150g Self Raising Flour
4oz/ 125g Margarine
1 egg
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
4oz/ 125g Milk/ Cooking Chocolate
4oz/125g White Chocolate
75g Oat Flakes (optional- used to give the cookies texture)
Materials:
Large Mixing Bowl
Weighing Scales
Two Baking Trays
(I made the mistake of only using one tray... and the cookies completely joined together in the oven :S...)
Wooden Spoon
Wire Rack
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 190̊ C
2. Grease two baking trays
3. Mix margarine and sugar until smooth
4.Add the egg and vanilla essence
5. Stir in flour and chocolate until stiff
6. Mix in the oat flakes (optional)
7. Spoon mixture onto baking trays
8. Bake for 15 minutes
9. Cool for 2-3 minutes on a wire rack
I made a few changes to the recipie- I used caster sugar instead of light brown sugar and 8oz of cooking chocolate rather than 4oz of cooking chocolate and 4oz of white chocolate
Butter and Sugar
Egg and Vanilla Essence
Flour and Chocolate
Oat Flakes (optional)
Cookies with Oat Flakes
Cookies without Oat Flakes
And Again...
Hope you enjoyed
